The Introduction of Chinese Huoshi-Bajiquan

  Traditional Chinese martial arts are fighting skills which have special Chinese cultural characters. They are formed with the development of Chinese traditional culture. Chinese martial arts contain a deep Chinese philosophy concept, and they are one of the carriers of Chinese culture. With the development of Chinese martial arts, a number of good fighting skills were invented, and Bajiquan was one of them.

  A long time ago, Bajiquan which was one of the secret skills in Shao Lin Si, was only mastered by some senior monks because it was the elite of Shao Lin Martial Arts. Its practical skills are simple but also exquisite, which contain both long-distance fighting skills and short-distance fighting skills. When it is performed, the verve is not only very majestic but serious. And the person who performs has a temperament of the king.

  Huo Diange Shifu had respectable personality. He engaged himself in martial arts all through his life, and focused on the real practice. His skill was excellent, and was named “the Northen chivalrous”. Based on his teaching and experineces in the competitions, Huo Diange had made some conclusions, had got rid of the bad things and had kept the truth of the martial arts. So Bajiquan became more brief and systemized. Thus Huo Diange’s Bajiquan was also called “Huoshi-Bajiquan” in the field of martial arts.

  Mr Li Shudong is Huo Diange’s chief apprentice, one of the Chinese famous master of martial arts, the seventh grade of Chinese kongfu, the national No.1 referee in martial arts and the Chinese HuoShi-Bajiquan’s third apprentice. He devotes himself in the research of Bajiquan skills and has full of teaching experiences. Mr Li’s apprentices have got the first places in many the national Bajiquan competitions. In addition, Mr Li not only has very deep understanding about Bajiquan but also has brief  teaching skills which are easy to be understood. In recenct years, Mr Li had writen a textbook of martial arts, which was called <>. And he has been invited by the “Wu Hun” magazine to introduce his experiences and skills.
